1. How do I become a Member? a Distributor?
Membership is $24.99. You get a Straight from the Heart Starter Pack which consists of the following: Life By Design 12-Page Catalog; Gano Excel News Newsletter; Unlocking the Secrets of Asia Video; Starter Kit Certificate; Business Card Order Forms; Distributor Application Forms; Product Order Forms; AutoShip Forms; Sales Aids Order Forms; Executive Success Paks (ESP) Order Forms; Gano Café 3-in-1 Flyer; Marketing Materials; 3 Samples of Coffee – 1 Gano Café 3-in-1; 1 Ganocafé Classic; 1 Gano Schokolade.

You become a Distributor by purchasing one of our packages: the Executive Success Pak (ESP), Ruby-Builder Pak (RBP) or Diamond-Builder Pak (DBP). If you are serious about doing business as an Independent Distributor of Gano Excel, this is how you need to get started.

As a Member or Distributor, you need to complete a Distributor Application Form and either fax or mail it to us. The Distributor Application Form is located in any of our Member or Distributor packages.We will provide you a Gano Excel ID number, and you can immediately buy product at wholesale prices, and save money. You can also sell the product at retail.

2. What is the Payment Policy regarding purchases of Gano Excel Products?
Payments made by Personal Check will be held for 10 days before products are shipped. Products will not be shipped until after the check clears. Orders paid by Credit Card, Cashier’s Check, Money Order or Cash will be processed and shipped within 3 business days.

3. What is the difference between a Member and a Distributor?

There are two types of people within the Gano Excel organization . . . the Member and the Distributor. Being a Member allows you buy Gano Excel products at wholesale prices and save money. Then you can either consume those products personally, or you can resell them to others at the suggested retail price, thus making some extra income from the profit ranging from 15%-25%. You can also receive rebates and commissions on the products you buy for personal consumption and resale as long as you qualify. A Member of Gano Excel is 1) a person who has previously signed up with the Free Member program or purchased the $35 Distributor Kit prior to March 15, 2004; 2) a person who has purchased a $9.99 Gano Excel Starter Kit from March 15, 2004 through June 15, 2004; or 3) a person who has purchased a $24.99 Straight from the Heart Starter Kit.

A Distributor is a consumer and/or person who is serious about joining Gano Excel with the intent of becoming a business. Distributors automatically get the same benefits as Members, but they also can qualify for the Weekly Fast Start Bonuses and Monthly Overrides from other Distributors as long as they meet minimum requirements. A Distributor in Gano Excel is 1) a person who has purchased a Founder, Associate Founder, or Leader Package prior to March 15, 2004 or 2) a person who has purchased an Executive Success Pak (ESP), Ruby-Builder Package or Diamond-Builder Package since March 15, 2004.

4. What is PV?
PV means Point Value. All of our products have a corresponding Point Value, including our Executive Success Paks (ESPs), Ruby-Builder Pak and Diamond-Builder Pak. No other programs, sales literature, promotional materials or other items have PV, unless indicated.

5. What qualifies me to get a monthly commission/rebate?
No matter your level or status, you will receive commissions, rebates or bonuses when you earn a minimum of 25 PV within a calendar month. The monthly checks are processed and paid to you in the next calendar month.

6. How do I get rebates?
As a Member or Distributor, you are entitled to receive rebates (based on your commission level and/or position) from your total PV for the calendar month of the purchases. For example, if your total purchase for the month is 100 PV, and you are a Director, you will get a rebate of 20% of 100 PV the following month or $20.

The rebate is based on a ladder scale depending on the PV you have earned since you started with Gano Excel. It will never go down and you don’t have to start over the next month or the next year. This month you could be earning a 5% rebate on your purchases and then next month you could be earning 14%, depending on how hard you work and how much PV you earn. 7. How do I earn commissions?
Overriding commissions are also based on your commission level. For example: if you are a Director, you are at 20% commission level. If you sponsor someone who bought an Executive Success Pak (at 115.50 PV), that person is at 5% commission level. As a Director, you will then earn the difference of 15% (20% less 5%).

8. When are the commission checks paid?
Monthly commission checks are usually mailed to the qualified Member or Distributor on the 20th of the month following the commissionable calendar month. For example: if the commissionable calendar month is March 2004, your commission check will be mailed out on April 20, 2004.

9. How do I qualify for the Weekly Fast Start Bonus?
In order to qualify for the Weekly Fast Start Bonus, you must be a Distributor. In other words, you need to have purchased a Founder’s Package; Associate Founder’s Package; or Leader’s Package prior to March 15, 2004; or 2) you need to have purchased an Executive Success Pak, Ruby-Builders Pak, or Diamond-Builder Pak since March 15, 2004. Members do not qualify for the Fast Start Bonus.

10. What do I need to do to maintain my qualification for the Fast Start Bonus?
Distributor (Non-Director): You need to maintain a minimum of 50 personal PV every calendar month. If you miss your 50 PV during a calendar month, you do not get paid the Weekly Fast Start Bonuses during the next calendar month. You can always re-qualify if you miss a month, but it won’t apply until the following calendar month.

Director and Above: You need at least 100 Personal/Group PV every month. In other words, you need to maintain 50 personal PV monthly yourself, AND any of your downline non-Director Distributors or Members ALSO need to maintain 50 personal PV monthly (totaling 100 PV) within a calendar month. However, since you don’t know when your Members or Distributors will become a Director, we suggest you do 100 PV yourself. If you miss your 100 PV during a calendar month, you do not qualify for the Weekly Fast Start Bonus during the next calendar month. Again, you can always re-qualify if you miss a month, but it won’t apply until the following calendar month.

11. How is the Fast Start Bonus Program paid?
Our Fast Start Bonus Program pays up to 5 Levels Deep (which is unheard of in this industry). Everyone who qualifies for the Fast Start Bonus (FSB) is eligible for the Enroller Bonus depending on the Plan they encourage their prospects to start with ESP (FSB=$55), Ruby-Builder (FSB=$220) or Diamond-Builder (FSB=$385) Paks. Your status also determines how much of the FSB you benefit. If you are only a Distributor, you will receive the FSB bonus from the first 2 levels below you; Director from 3 levels below; Ruby from 4 levels; and finally as a Diamond all 5 levels.

Now, you just happen to be a Diamond Director. In your direct downline, you have 7 people (including yourself) and all people qualified for the FSB for the month by maintaining 50 PV the previous calendar month. Person #7 sells an Executive Success Pak and gets their $55 FSB Enroller Bonus. We then give a $5 FSB to Persons #2 through #6, since we pay 5 levels deep. This is assuming that all the people on your team have maintained their monthly minimum PV.

But what if Person #4 didn’t maintain their monthly minimum PV? Person #4 doesn’t get the $5 FSB and you being the next qualified person (Person #1) up in turn, you will receive the $5 FSB. This is just an example and will apply depending on how many people do and don’t qualify. In other words, now all members on your leg have to qualify with a minimum of 50 PV (Non-Director) or 100 PV (Director and above) to receive their FSB. Those who don’t qualify will not receive their bonus, while the next qualifying person will. Meaning that we will still be paying up to 5 Levels Deep.

12. When do I receive my Fast Start Bonus (FSB) check?
As long as you qualify for the FSB program, it will be paid as follows: If you place an order before Friday 4:00 PM of the qualifying week, the FSB check will be processed the Friday or Saturday of the next week and then mailed out the following Monday. So you now have a vehicle to earn a weekly check from Gano Excel.

13. In order to earn the overrides from other people, do you need to be a Director?
In order to earn the overrides from people in your downline, you do need to be a Director or above. This is why becoming a Director is so important. Until you become a Director, you still can take advantage of the monthly commissions and rebates, as well as the Weekly Fast Start Bonuses – providing you qualify. When you review the Compensation Plan on this website, you will see how the overrides are broken down.

14. How are my taxes taken care of?
Gano Excel wants you to receive 100% of your bonus earnings. If your bonus check is smaller than it should be, it's because we never received your W-9 form. Gano Excel needs to receive this form for the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to avoid withholding 31% of your bonus earnings for U.S. federal income tax withholding.

You also need to consult with a qualified tax person concerning your personal income taxes. With Gano Excel, you are considered an Independent Contractor and will be issued an IRS Form 1099 form at the end of the year for your earnings from Gano Excel. We do not take out taxes from your monthly or weekly commissions. It will be your responsibility to consult a tax advisor on your year-end taxes, as well as how to handle your business taxes and appropriate write-offs.

15. What products are charged sales tax and what aren’t?
Any of the Gano Excel drink or food products are tax free. We do need to charge sales tax on the capsules, skin and personal care products (such as the soap, lotions, and toothpaste), as well as the $24.99 Gano Excel Starter Kit and sales aids. We also do not charge sales tax on the Executive Success Paks (ESPs), Ruby-Builder Package or Diamond-Builder Package.

16. How are sales taxes calculated on Product orders?
If there are taxes on the items you order (the items mentioned above), you need to calculate the sales tax based on where you live. If you come to the Corporate Headquarters in Irwindale, CA, you will be charged the local sales tax based on the current sales tax at the time of purchase.

17. How is Shipping and Handling calculated on Product Orders?
Unless specifically indicated on the order form (such as for the special packages), we’ve made the Shipping and Handling charges simple. Just view the chart below:
 

18. What is an AutoShip?
Actually it’s our way of sending your personal product order regularly without you having to think about it. Using the AutoShip Order, if set up properly, will also ensure that you maintain your monthly 25, 50 or 100 Point Value necessary for the commission and rebates; Weekly Fast Start Bonus Programs; and the other incentives that require a minimum Point Value qualification.

By completing the AutoShip Form, you will get the specific products you need on a regular monthly basis and automatically charged to the Credit Card of your choice or debit account. It’s that simple. And you won’t run out of the products you need regularly or have that last minute scramble on your mind.
And if you do purchase enough PV within the calendar month to qualify, the AutoShip will not activate, so you won’t be double-charged for product you don’t need. The main purpose of the AutoShip is to ensure your qualification in the Weekly Fast Start Bonus program and other incentives that require AutoShip activation.

19. How does Gano Excel handle product returns and expired products?
Gano Excel will buy back from a purchaser unused and currently resalable product at 100% (up to 30 days after the original purchase) or 90% (beyond 30 days) of the net purchase prior to the end of one year from the date of original purchase, less commission paid out within the adopted compensation plan. There will also be a small restocking fee applicable to products returned to Gano Excel.

Expired products will not be accepted back by Gano Excel. It is very important that you inspect your products when you receive your shipment and check the expiration dates. However, if you have received expired products that were part of an original shipment, we will give you a grace period of 30 days to return the product to Gano Excel (USA) for replacement of the same product only. When you return the expired product, make sure to include an explanation in writing as to the reason for the return.

20. Are Gano Excel products FDA approved?
In order to be available in the United States, Gano Excel products must meet federal standards. Most of the products Gano Excel offers do not need FDA approval as they are considered to be organic. However those products that do require FDA approval are reviewed by government upon entry into the United States, since they are shipped from Malaysia.

21. If we are Halal certified for the Muslim community, why aren’t we certified Kosher for the Jewish community?

Gano Excel is currently working on the requirements for certification of our products as being Kosher. This does take time and money, as like Halal, Kosher products must meet strict qualifications. We will keep you apprised of this status.

22. What about taking Ganoderma with prescribed medicine?
Ganoderma and Excellium are suitable to be taken together with doctor’s prescriptions and other herbal remedies. Ganoderma is a natural medicine and can be used with other Western drugs. Not only are there no adverse effects, it also can help reduce the side effects of Western drugs. Never reduce or stop taking your prescription unless recommended by your physician.

23. Explain how to take Ganoderma, Excellium, Sakanno and Garcinia. Do I take them all at once or at different times.

Please note that you can take the different capsules at the same time as others. So you can take the Ganoderma, Excellium and Garcinia capsules at the same time, in the varying dosages as mentioned below.

Ganoderma & Excellium. Start with a pair of capsules (one Ganoderma and one Excellium) per day for the first week. The pair work 5 times better when taken together than separately. Then add another pair for the second week. This pair can be taken in the morning before breakfast; or take one pair in the morning and one pair at night. Drink plenty of water for better results. (For asthma and kidney patients, reduce the dosage by half.) If the detoxification process is too intense, reduce the dosage.
